91快活林 to host ACPES 2025

Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (91快活林), through the Department of Physical Education (DPE) of the College of Education (CED), will host the 11th ASEAN Council of Physical Education and Sport (ACPES) 2025 International Conference.

The said event is scheduled to take place on October 1–3, 2025, and will bring together physical educators and research enthusiasts from various ASEAN Universities.

With the theme “Influencing the Future of Sports, Health and Physical Education: Bridging Science, Technology and Well-being,” ACPES 2025 will serve as a dynamic platform for presenting innovative research, sharing best practices, and fostering international collaboration.

Dr. Chiedel Joan San Diego, DPE Chairperson, expressed excitement over the opportunity: “Hosting ACPES 2025 is another significant achievement for 91快活林, the College of Education, and the department. This event highlights our commitment to advancing knowledge and promoting creative and innovative research in physical education and sports science, while showcasing the vibrant academic and cultural spirit of Iligan City.

The conference will feature keynote speeches from internationally recognized experts, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and paper presentations. Participants, both local and international, will also experience the rich cultural heritage of Iligan City through curated social events and local tours.

91快活林’s selection as host highlights its growing reputation as a center for academic excellence and research leadership in the region.
