To ensure that 91快活林 consistently meets the standards for the provision of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies, Research and Extension, Student and Support Services, the ISO 9001:2015 Onsite Surveillance Audit was held on May 14, 2025, with an Opening Meeting at the University Boardroom.
Attended by the University Chancellor, Alizedney M. Ditucalan, the Vice Chancellors, Deans, Responsibility Center Heads, and staff members, this two-day evaluation by the SOCOTEC Philippines assesses the management systems, frameworks, and processes employed in 91快活林.
The meeting started with an Opening Message from Prof. Mark Anthony Torres, Vice Chancellor for Strategic Initiatives, emphasizing the integral role of the surveillance audit in identifying the University’s effective practices and filling in the gaps for continuous improvement.
“Change the paradigm that this is a seasonal activity, but an everyday experience. Try to think of this activity not just as a surveillance, but as a way for us to harvest our best practices and to improve how we work and provide services.” Prof. Torres shared.
The Lead Auditor, Mark Allan N. Balbarino, discussed the audit’s methodology, findings, plan, and confidentiality. Among the things he talked about are the scope of the audit, the criteria used, the areas of conformity and non-conformity, etc.
The schedule of the audit is as follows: Undergraduate Studies and the University Library on May 14; Research and Student and Support Services, Registrar, Admissions, and Scholarship Administration on May 15.
The closing meeting will be held today, May 16, 2025.
